Official Announcement
Hey everyone,
I’ve been putting this off for a while, but it’s finally time to say it —
I’ve officially shut down ReviewsBot.
There’s been a lot going on lately: ongoing issues with Discord, rising operational costs, a lack of time and motivation, and some heavier personal battles I’ve been facing. Recently, my mental health reached a really low point, and it forced me to step back and take things seriously. I realized I can’t keep pushing myself past my limits anymore — especially not at the cost of my well-being.
I want to use this as a reminder for everyone: mental health matters. Speak up. Reach out. Be there for your friends, and for yourself.
You might’ve seen the Ice Bucket Challenge making a comeback — while that was originally about ALS awareness, it’s now being used to raise awareness for mental health too. It’s a strong reminder that raising awareness can truly save lives. Whether it’s physical or mental health, don’t underestimate how powerful it is just to check in and have open conversations.
As for the future — maybe one day there’ll be something new with the Discord server, or even a brand new project. Right now, nothing is planned. But if you ever have suggestions or ideas, I’m always down to hear them.
Also, make sure to check out what my amazing team is working on —
Keep an eye on their statuses and “about me” sections on Discord to stay up to date with their projects. And definitely check out bump4you.com too — they’re doing some awesome stuff that deserves support.
And lastly — thank you.
ReviewsBot was the first project I ever created, built while I was literally learning how to code. Since launching in September 2022, our three bots ended up growing into over 10,000 servers across two and a bit years, with over 80,000 reviews submitted through us. It’s insane to look back and see how far it came, and it wouldn’t have happened without all of your support. I’m seriously grateful for everything.
The server will still be here if you ever want to chat, and my DMs are always open — whether you want to talk about your own projects, need support, or just want to have a conversation. I’m always happy to connect.
Please take care of yourselves.
And again — thank you. 💙
